Three-race Tennessee Memorial Day Weekend up next for The Hammer

The Hammer will run a three-race Memorial Day weekend. Crossville's Raceway USA in Crossville, TN will open the holiday weekend swing by hosting the O'Reilly USCS winged outlaw sprint cars on Friday night, May 27. Garnertown Speedway in Luray, TN will be the second jewel of the Memorial Day Weekend Triple Crown when they host the O'Reilly USCS for a National and Mid-South Tour event on Saturday night, May 28. The finale of the O'Reilly USCS Tennessee swing will be at Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, TN on Sunday night, May 29.

Hammer Wins Again

Danny "The Hammer" Martin Jr. of Sarasota, FL picked up his first O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series win of the 2005 season Saturday night at Watermelon Capital Speedway driving the Martin Structures, Inc. Shaw/ZRE. The 19-year-old driver took the lead on lap four and never looked back to post his first career Asphalt Thunder Tour victory.
